New mobile ticket app now available

Today we pleased to launch a new mobile web application for the Isle of Wight Floating Bridge that allows customers to quickly and easily buy a ticket for their crossing using a mobile phone (tablets and desktops also supported).

Just go to and follow the on screen instructions.

In three simple steps, customers can pay and display a ticket on their screen which can be scanned by the crew onboard just like a paper ticket.

This new web app is design to make the service more customer friendly:

You can now avoid any queues at quayside machines – with the added convenience that tickets can be bought anywhere there is an internet connection: just before boarding, at the start of your journey, and even up to 7 days in advance.

If you don’t have cash or a credit card: there’s an option to pay via your mobile phone bill (except O2).

And, if you’re travelling in a group, this is by far the quickest way to pay for multiple tickets.
